If there is any hope for mankind it will only be by the blood sacrifice and the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and when an individual has fully come to the point that they realize the depravity of their sins and confess them to Almighty God and with their tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, then you shall be saved.
The truth be told, getting to that point in one’s life can be like pulling hair because man’s nature is to reject God and by his own prideful self worth he thinks that there is either no God but himself, or that if God truly does exist he is reluctant to turn to Almighty God for fear that their sins will be exposed for all to see.
Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore? Isaiah 64:1-12
In this passage by Isaiah, it can be understood through prophetic revelation as he uttered these words many years before the fall of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Temple in 586 B.C. yet he lamented over the fallen state as though it had already occurred. God’s people were in desperate straits and their prayers urgent and persistent…
“How can you stand by when your people and your land are so barren?”
God wants us to wake up to his divine sovereign presence throughout all of heaven, the universe, in this world and the world to come and because of man’s fallen sinful state of being as we have witnessed through the pages of history concerning God’s chosen people as he has blessed Israel when they turned to him alone as their God and has punished them severely when they have turned to other gods.
Today is no different as all things remain the same and God is waiting while Israel which God brought back into the land a second time Isaiah 11:11-12, Ezekiel 38:8 is lamenting with its struggles trying to survive while back in the land that God gave unto their forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 13:14-16, and the day will come when all of Israel will turn back to the Lord God and with one voice cry out “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”. Luke 13:35
If one is watching with a discerning eye to the news events that are being reported daily at an alarming rate, the news of the crisis in the Middle East between Israel and her hateful Arab and Muslim neighbors with the constant rhetoric as they gather together in unity with one motive…
“The complete and total annihilation of the state of Israel”.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee. Psalm 83:3-5

Yet Israel as a nation is back in the land in unbelief and as a nation they have yet to turn to Almighty God and repent of their sins, and so we see again the nations coming together in unity with the sole purpose of destroying the state of Israel and as world governments struggle to bring Israel and her neighbors together in agreement of peace with the silly notion that if Israel would hand over more land then there would be peace, Israel did this by handing over Gaza which has turned out to be a failed mistake as Hamas has consistently been raining down rockets and mortars on defenseless Israeli towns with little or no voice of opposition by the world and as Israel defends themselves militarily the world cries foul which makes no sense. Everyone is crying peace peace, but there is no peace!
The only time the world has ever experienced peace is when nations have taken the time to reload between wars!
All this talk of war and at the same time the world is decaying rapidly contrary to the popular belief of the theory of evolution whereas everything is evolving into a much higher state of being as this bogus theory flies in the face of the second law of thermodynamics that states that all matter ages and eventually deteriorates and this is confirmed in Psalm 102.
Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. Psalm 102:25-26
As we see wars and rumors of wars along with increases in global catastrophes as just in 2010 we have seen many powerful earthquakes that have devastated the nation of Haiti that was jolted with a 7.0 quake, the Solomon Islands was recently hit with a 7.1 quake, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Japan’s Ryukyu Islands, and now a massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake hits Chile and they will be no stop to these earthquakes as they continue to explode in magnitude just as is written within the Scriptures: Matthew 24:7 , Mark 13:8, Luke 21:11
As it was known then, deterioration and decay in our world and the universe is a rapidly increasing and we’re seeing new scientific discoveries confirming what the Bible says is true as we find that there are no contradictions between the facts of science and the Bible.
As the world continues to argue over the science of evolution and global warming, the fact of the matter is that the truth has always been known since the day God created everything good, and then sin came into the world and us Romans 5:12 ; and so we cry and we suffer what the Bible calls tribulation with the everyday problems that affect mankind and they seem to be increasing everywhere around the globe as politicians and world leaders scramble to try to ward off the effects with self centered “we can change the world” conferences that are nothing more than idle talk and photo-op appearances!

The Day is approaching when the Lord Jesus Christ will return for his church and take us away in what we call the rapture and bring us home to heaven to wait out the events of the seven-year tribulation, the outpouring of God’s wrath on a sinful unbelieving world that has rejected Jesus Christ as Lord.
Will it have to take this dark time in world history still future as the prophet Zephaniah foretold to bring the world to its knees?
The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness. Zephaniah 1:14-15
What will it take to convince mankind that everything the Bible says is true and that only by repentance of one’s sins and the confession by one’s tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord is the way to salvation, the Bible says that many will not come to the truth and would rather believe a lie and that only a few would find and receive the truth of the Gospel, Matthew 7:13-15 and believe in the one that the Father sent into the world to die for the remission of sin. John 3:15-17
To those who had given their life over to Jesus Christ as Lord and we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves, Ephesians 2:8 we wait for that glorious day when Christ shall appear in the clouds and we are all caught up to be with the Lord forever! 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:21-23
There is a special promise given to those who have not denied the name of Jesus and have kept his words:
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Revelation 3:8-10
